I'm not sure why Jude looks so surly here. But anyway, he picked all those apples himself. Despite the grimace, Jude did have a wonderful time at that farm. When paying fo the apples, Jude was getting excited about sticking various objects - mostly little decorative gourds - on the big scale that they had there. It was cute. We had 10 dollars, eight of which went to the beautiful 25 pounds of Jonagolds, and two of which went to homegrown blackberry honey. Mmm.

i miss the kind of climate that you put on sweaters and go apple picking. we have apple picking here too, but it's not the same.
thanks for the note. your family has grown and i would really love to meet your daughter. she is a beauty. her round cheeks remind me of the baby that i'm nannying for right now, elliot. she is 7 1/2 months old and nearly 25 lbs. we call her the "woman" because she is round and curvy like a woman.
no i haven't heard from jon. i think he is out in the woods somewhere. i'm glad he got you those pictures, he is good like that.
hey we should email instead...emilyksemer@yahoo.com
go ahead and toss me over an email.
I just went pumpking picking this weekend, and apples are next! Fall activities are my favorite... you must be having such a wonderful time sharing them with your absolutely beautiful children. Love all the pictures. Jude and Esme look so full of joy, like they really love being who they are. Good job mom and dad!
yumm. jonagolds are our favourite. i'm also partial to red delicious. is it because they are the prettiest apple? maybe.
your kids are adorable.
I discovered a link to your blog on Val's blog. Wow! Your kids are so cute, and getting so big!! I don't think I'd seen a picture of Esme since she was born. I'm so glad you seem to be doing so well. It is good to catch up on how you are once in a while. Kevin says hello.
